ABM East

November 6 to 8, 2017
Robinson-Huron Treaty Territory, Sudbury, ON
Radisson Hotel Sudbury

We, alongside our co-hosts Wahnapitae First Nation and Sagamok First Nation, are pleased to announce the return of ABM East in Ontario – with a new location: Robinson-Huron Treaty Territory.

About the Co-Hosts

Wahnapitae is an Ojibway band part of the Anishinabek Nation and a signatory of the Robinson-Huron Treaty. The Nation continues to prosper as a self-sustaining community by creating opportunities in traditional, social, economic and cultural sectors. All of their business development align with the values of protecting the land, air, water and environment.

Sagamok First Nation is a community located on  whose name means ‘two points joining.’ Also known as the Three Fires Peoples, the community members of Sagamok number well over 2000, with rich stories, legends and history that derive from time immemorial. The community strives for cohesiveness and consistency throughout all its economic development departments with the understanding that they are directly tied to the infrastructure and health of the community.

Eastern Canada Business Matching Priorities

ABM East is about connecting communities and companies with complementing goals, supporting economic diversification and innovation while providing opportunities to form partnerships that result in new ventures, stronger market presence and a sharper competitive edge.  We are looking for companies that represent all industry sectors including those that are not directly related to oil and gas but offer opportunities from technology to agriculture and retail etc. On the right you find a list of all delegates that are currently registered. Business matching activities are in full swing. If you do not see what or who you are looking for, please contact Noah at (604) 414-4866 or Alisha at (604) 414-8126 or email info@ravenevents.ca to discuss your business development needs.

Preparation is Key

Because business matching is the central component of your attendance at ABM, your success on the tradeshow floor depends on being active on the ABM system prior to the show — the sooner the better. Kick-starting these conversations early gives you a better chance of locking in those pre-scheduled appointments for a fuller, more effective show. Delegates who are engaged on the ABM system, active in accepting and declining pre-scheduled appointment requests and who show up on the tradeshow floor ready to go, see a real result at ABM.
